Warm Homes Local Grant
WarmPro Insulation Specialists Ltd was appointed by Suffolk County Council and the District Councils to deliver works under the Warm Homes Local Grant (WHLG) programme, commencing delivery in 2025 and continuing into 2026. The contract forms part of a wider £2.75 million programme covering 194 homes, with the first 50 homes delivered as an initial phase valued at approximately £750,000.

Integrating Fabric and Renewables for
Whole-House Retrofit
Unlike earlier grant programmes, WHLG required the integration of fabric measures with low-carbon technologies to deliver whole-house retrofit outcomes. The principal challenge was managing the complexity of multi-measure delivery across occupied homes while maintaining programme momentum and ensuring seamless coordination between fabric works and renewable installations. This required careful sequencing, strong technical oversight, and proactive engagement with residents and council officers. WarmPro addressed this by applying lessons learned from earlier HUG delivery, implementing clear installation pathways, strengthened data management, and close collaboration with the council's housing and support teams.

Delivering Comprehensive Whole-House Retrofit Solutions
WarmPro was engaged as Principal Contractor, responsible for end-to-end delivery, coordination, and compliance. All works were designed and delivered in accordance with PAS 2035 and PAS 2030:2023, with appropriate MCS-certified partners used for renewable installations.
